Losing Weight, Senna Herb Way.
Thursday, March 12th, 2009How to compute for your Ideal Body Weight:
5′3″=63 inches 63 in. X 2.54 = 160.02 cm
160.02-100= 60.02
60.02-(.5%)6.02= 54 K
The thing is I am not satisfied with this. Because there is still more than the Ideal Weight thing. There are the the so-called “Weight Range” but before that, you must identify first whether your Body Mass Index is normal or not.
What is the “Body Mass Index” or freeking BMI
No, I am not Googling this. It would be shameful if I dont even know this.
Well BMI rates the level of adiposity [yes, FAT] stored in your body by classifying it accordingly into UNDERWEIGHT (18.49 and below) , NORMAL (18.5-24.9), OVERWEIGHT (25-29.9) or OBESE (30-above).
The equation? BMI is your actual weight (not the computed desired/ideal body weight) in kilos divided by your height in meters then squared. In a amthematician’s term, BMI=kg/m2 [2 is the squaring factor.
My real weight: 53 K
My height (with no freeking heels):
5′ 3″ = 1.60 m = 2.56 (squared)
BMI = 53/2.56
= 20.7 or 21!
Meaning its still NORMAL.
So why am I complaining still? Like I’ve wrote earlier, there is a “WEIGHT RANGE” for your BMI to be still considered NORMAL. { But, because I’m a rascal, I would rather have it to be UNDERWEIGHT!
}
So how to get it?
Lets get back to your weight
(no, nope not that computed one, the REAL one)
So mine’s 53 K
All you need is to +/- 5
(plus and minus)
Therefore, 53 - 5 = 48 K
(That is the lower range of normal-ancy)
and 53 + 5 = 58 K
( That is the upper range of normal-esque)
SEE: 48 vs 58!
That is why, I am taking control to down me into 48 K! or effing 106 lbs!
Well, I hope a Senna Herb tea every night can do me well.
{So far, I am experiencing great diarrhea, but WHO CARES! As long, I don’t passed out. Hypoglycemia SUCK my gut BIG TIME. A lot of time, really. Sshh, dont tell anyone. As if.}
